Everyone,
I just read an interesting article on InfoSecurity-Magazine.com website concerning a “Amazon customers receive Smishing warning after receiving fake texts” – See link;
https://www.infosecurity-magazine.com/news/amazon-customers-receive-smishing/
They stated in the article that Amazon users are receiving text messages which “appear” to warn the user that forwards them to a fake or fraudulent website where they enter Personal Identifying Information so the malicious actor can get DOB, social security numbers, mobile numbers & etc.. from victims.
Amazon asks users to report scams and visit their help page for more information on how to identify scams.
Just wanted to make you aware! Be RV WebSafe!
Thanks,
Robert
